Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav’s move to expand his ‘PDA’ plank to include Brahmins and Baniyas is being viewed by analysts as an attempt to fracture the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s core base ahead of the Assembly election.
