The Craft Council of Andhra Pradesh (CCAP) inaugurated ‘Vasantham’, an exhibition showcasing the rich heritage of handlooms, handicrafts and traditional crafts of India, in Vijayawada on Monday.
Heritage Foods executive director Nara Brahmani visited the exhibition and interacted with the weavers and artisans, and appreciated the efforts of the Craft Council of A.P. in organising the exhibition. She also commended the initiative for providing a valuable platform to weavers and artisans to showcase their products, reach customers and promote their traditional crafts. She said that such exhibitions were extremely beneficial in supporting the weaving community and encouraging the preservation of our rich craft heritage.
The two-day exhibition will conclude on November 3 (Tuesday). It remains open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Sesha Sai Kalyana Mandapam, Vedika in the city.
