A human skeleton was discovered near an unfinished house in Nandavanam on Friday.

The remains were found by construction workers who arrived at the site to undertake cleaning work. The building had remained incomplete for a considerable period due to court proceedings.

According to the police, water had accumulated in one section of the building, where workers discovered a human skull and several bone fragments. The building and its surroundings were overgrown with vegetation.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. A forensic team subsequently arrived at the site and collected evidence.

Police sources said the recent cases of missing persons and deaths reported under suspicious circumstances are being examined.
