The Cyberabad Traffic Police have advised IT companies and other organisations in the commissionerate limits to implement staggered early logout from 2 p.m. between Tuesday (November 3, 2026) and Thursday (Novermber 5, 2026) in view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall across the region.

In a traffic advisory issued on Tuesday, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) asked organisations to consider completing the staggered logout process by 4 p.m. to minimise travel-related risks and prevent severe traffic congestion during the afternoon and evening hours.

The advisory noted that intermittent weather conditions and unexpected moderate to heavy rainfall were expected over the three days. It said the measures were necessary to ensure employee safety, maintain business continuity, ease pressure on road infrastructure and facilitate the uninterrupted movement of emergency services.

The police have also advised IT companies and organisations to consider allowing employees to work from home during the three-day period as an alternative to travelling to their workplaces.

The organisations were asked to share their locations and the proposed early logout timings with the Cyberabad Traffic Police through email at cybtrcc@gmail.com to help the department put adequate traffic management arrangements in place.
