Namma Metro services will be extended beyond their regular operating hours on Saturday, considering the anticipated increase in passenger demand and to facilitate commuters, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said.

On the Purple Line, the last trains will depart from Whitefield (Kadugodi) at 12 midnight and Challaghatta at 12.20 a.m. On the Green Line, the last trains will leave Madavara at 12.15 a.m. and Silk Institute at 12.20 a.m., a release sa.

On the Yellow Line, the last train will depart from R.V. Road at 1.15 a.m., while the last service from Delta Electronics Bommasandra will leave at 11.55 p.m.

The last connecting train from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, will depart at 12.55 a.m. BMRCL, in the release, has advised passengers to use QR tickets, Smart Cards, or NCMC Cards to avoid queues at ticket counters.

BMRCL officials said that the train service was extended in view of a musical event by renowned musician A.R. Rahman at the KTPO Convention Centre in Whitefield.
