NEET-PG 2026 results declared: Qualifying cut-off, scorecard, and more

The candidates, who appeared for NEET-PG 2026, can download their individual scorecards from the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) on or after October 10, 2026.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the results of NEET-PG 2026 on Thursday (September 24, 2026). The result indicating the raw scores obtained by the candidates and their NEET-PG 2026 rank have been declared and can be viewed at the NBEMS website natboard.edu.in.

The cut-off scores for various categories have also been listed. The minimum qualifying cut-off for general and EWS candidates is 262 marks, corresponding to the 50th percentile.

For general PwBD candidates, the cut-off is 244 marks (45th percentile), while for SC, ST and OBC candidates, including PwBD candidates from these categories, the cut-off is 226 marks (40th percentile).

The candidates can download their individual scorecards from the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) on or after October 10, 2026. The official communication also pointed out that the scorecard would be available for download only for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) 2026 examination was conducted on August 30, 2026, across the country for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (direct 6-year courses)/PG medical diploma courses of the 2026-27 admission session.

A re-examination was conducted on September 5 at Jaipur for candidates who could not complete the exam due to a power failure at the test centres. A total of 263544 candidates appeared for the exam on August 30, and 2416 candidates wrote the exam on September 5.

Eight Hyderabad restaurants lose FSSAI licences, one shut over food safety violations

The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) on Thursday, September 24, suspended the FSSAI licences of eight restaurants in Hyderabad and ordered the closure of another for operating without an FSSAI licence, following inspections that found food safety and hygiene violations. The action followed a special drive conducted by eight enforcement teams comprising Food Safety Officers and police personnel across Hyderabad. A total of 15 establishments were inspected during the drive. According to TG SAFE, officials found several violations, including cockroach, housefly and rodent infestations, the presence of rat faeces, expired and spoiled food, poor hygiene among food handlers, improper storage and labelling of food products, unclean utensils, poorly maintained drainage systems and greasy exhausts and chimneys. Some establishments were also found to have wet and untidy flooring and inadequate records relating to pest control and the health of food handlers. A total of 15 establishments were inspected during the drive | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The eight establishments whose FSSAI licences have been suspended are Acsys Hospitality LLP, which operates Aroma Multicuisine Restaurant in Jayabheri Enclave in Gachibowli, Aditya Restaurant and Bar at Safilguda, Vaishnavi Darshini at Begum Bazar, Spicy Hub (Green Treat Restaurant) at Kothapet, Pakwan Grand Restaurant at Raidurg, Godavari Ghumaghumalu at Hafeezpet, Sri Krishna Family Dhaba Pure Veg at Gopanpally, and Sri Sai Mess Branch, an outlet of Babai Hotel, at Kondapur. Lucky Restaurant at Pragathinagar, Bachupally, was closed for operating without an FSSAI licence and for heavy cockroach infestation and unhygienic conditions. TG SAFE officials said that a show-cause notice will be issued to Nexar Hoflich Food and Beverages, which operates Asaa Neo Indian Kitchen at Puppalguda, with further action proposed for the violations found during the inspection.
