P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tech In Process Private Limited to enhance students’ employability, technical skills and industry exposure.
The three-year agreement was signed by college principal Meka Ramesh and Managing Director of Tech In Gubbala Srinivasa Rao on Ssaturday.
Director Vemuri Baburao and dean P. Rajesh C. Jampala said the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing students with practical knowledge and industry-oriented training.
Under the MoU, Tech In Process Private Limited will extend technical support and guidance for industry-focused training programmes, student internships, academic and industry projects, resume preparation, conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes, and career guidance and counselling.
The partnership may also include mock interviews, aptitude training, soft-skills development and job-readiness programmes to prepare students for employment opportunities and meet the evolving demands of the industry.
The initiative is expected to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and provide students with greater exposure to professional practices and workplace expectations.
MBA faculty member Rahman, the placement officer, and Computer Science faculty member Kavuru Sridhar participated in the programme.
