For now, the financial details have been kept private as his family has tried to remain out of the spotlight.In June 2022, 22 year old college graduate Chritopher Howley collapsed after going on the infamous X2 ride with his younger brother, Alex, and cousins.As per reports, a CT scan revealed a catastrophic subdural hematoma, and the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner ended up ruling his death an accident resulting from blunt force head trauma sustained on the ride.The young man Christopher Howley passed away in just a few hours leaving behind his family shaken and grieving.As per FOX 11, in an interview, Christopher Howley’s mother said, "I remember him [Alex] saying, 'Mom, Christopher collapsed, and he's not waking up…We went from a family of four to a family of three in an instant…”She added, “It's devastating. It is a piece of us that is gone forever." His younger brother, Alex, also opened up about the ride as he said, "It was very rough. It just jerked us. It just jerked us all around," and noting that near the end, "It just like jolted us all the way forward and then our heads just swung all the way back into the end to the head."
