Drinking water supply will be partially disrupted in several parts of Hyderabad from 6 a.m. on Tuesday (November 3, 2026) till 6 p.m. on Wednesday, in view of repair works on the Gandipet conduit.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) said it will undertake repairs to fix leaks in the 20 MGD-capacity conduit near Sabza Colony, Tolichowki and Manikonda.

Affected areas include Red Hills, Nampally, Mallepally, Sitarambagh, Karwan, Goshamahal, Chintal Basti, Vijayanagar Colony, Asif Nagar, Ahmed Nagar, Domalguda, Gandhinagar and parts of Banjara Hills.

The Board said that the disruption will be limited to areas dependent on the Gandipet conduit. Areas with water supply dependent on Krishna, Godavari and Singur-Manjira projects will not face issues with the supply.
