Media-focused Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company Amagi registered a sharp increase in net profit in the second quarter of FY27, while revenue grew 27% year-on-year. Amagi's net profit for the second quarter (July-September) of FY27 stood at Rs 74.83 crore, compared with Rs 2.52 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, marking a nearly 29-fold increase, according to filings made by the company with the stock exchanges. Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 475.82 crore, compared with Rs 374.76 crore in the year-ago period. “We see three major opportunities ahead: helping customers operate more efficiently, reach new audiences and maximize revenues from their content. We expect AI to play an important role across all three,” said Baskar Subramanian, CEO, Amagi. He said the company has scaled its business with greater operating discipline. Revenue growth during the second quarter was driven by the streaming unification and monetisation and marketplace segments. During the quarter, Amagi also launched four new AI products spanning live production, live sports, localisation and agentic network operations. According to the company, its 10 largest customers contributed 41% of Q2 FY27 revenue, compared with 41.4% in the year-ago period. For the first half of FY27, the contribution stood at 39.9%, marginally lower than the 40.2% recorded in H1 FY26, indicating a broadly stable customer concentration profile. “These are long-standing relationships, with an average tenure of 5.3 years. As customers adopt more of our products and expand their operations on Amagi, the scale of these relationships naturally grows,” the company said. Looking ahead to the remainder of FY27, Amagi said revenue in the first half of the fiscal grew 30% year-on-year, accompanied by an expansion in EBITDA margin and stronger cash conversion.. “We will make planned investments in people, products, and technology selectively and with strict financial discipline. Ultimately, we aim to end FY27 with sustained Y/Y topline growth whilst benefiting from operating leverage, ensuring that our scaling adjusted EBITDA flows cleanly through into better cash conversion,” Amagi noted in a shareholders letter.
