Krishna District Collector D.K. Balaji has directed all officials to make foolproof arrangements for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to the district on October 14 and 15.
Reviewing the arrangements at Vijayawada International Airport in Gannavaram on Sunday, the Collector issued instructions to officials regarding arrangements for the President’s reception and farewell ceremonies at the airport.
The Collector directed officials to inspect the fitness of the convoy vehicles and ensure that the required vehicles and drivers were available. He also instructed that hospitals’ and medical teams be ready to handle emergency medical services and that necessary medical arrangements be arranged in accordance with the instructions of the President’s medical officers.
Those who attended the meeting included Krishna Superintendent of Police V. Vidhya Sagar Naidu, Additional Superintendents of Police V.V. Naidu and other senior police officers.
