The IMD has also said there would be heavy spells of rainfall in South Coastal A.P. during the next 12 hours.
Ongole city has recorded light rain of 18 mm as of 1 a.m., while Kothapatnam of Prakasam district has recorded 74.7 mm as of 1 a.m. The rainfall activity is picking up in the nearby coastal district of Krishna, where many places recorded moderate rains between 11.30 p.m. and 1 a.m. on November 2-3.
