The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has received the Aadhaar Samvaad 2026 National Award for adopting and implementing Aadhaar-enabled offline verification in the police recruitment process.
TSLPRB Chairman V.V. Srinivasa Rao received the award at the fifth National Stakeholder Conference, Aadhaar Samvaad, organised by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in Kolkata on Tuesday, September 29.
The award recognises the Board’s implementation of Aadhaar Face Authentication for candidates applying for police recruitment in Telangana. According to the TSLPRB, the system was introduced for the first time in police recruitment with the guidance and support of UIDAI’s Hyderabad Regional Office to prevent impersonation and strengthen security in the recruitment process.
As part of the process, candidates were required to download the Aadhaar App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and complete Aadhaar Face Authentication while submitting their Part I applications on the TSLPRB website between August 19 and September 16.
